Tested and Trusted Online Fundraising Platforms to Take Advantage of in 2021

With the COVID-19 pandemic, the life of the party seems to be online. Scratch that. The party itself is online. Non-profits are beginning to better position themselves to be partakers of the advantages that may come with dwelling, working and making an impact beginning from the internet. For fundraising, which is largely adjudged to be a great part of Impact making, more of it can be done online. There are quite a number of projects which have been funded by the public through online means. This is one of the reasons Irede Foundation has remained a great example in Africa this regard for a while now. As Merchant Maverick rightly analyses, not all crowdfunding websites are created equal. Some Crowdfunders are purely for creative/business projects and cannot be used for nonprofit fundraising, while other platforms specifically cater to the nonprofit market. Some platforms don’t let you collect the money you raise unless you hit your funding goal amount, while others let you keep whatever you raise regardless.
