So many people actually have a phobia (or maybe apathy) for checking for things online; probably people who do not know that the littlest worries they have can be solved by the internet. Others really wish that they could use the internet but do not know how to go about it.

Impacty brings good news to social sector workers who fall into any of the categories stated above –The internet is your friend, and amazingly so.

In this short article, we would be giving you tips on what the internet can do for you. There are a million of them but we’ll be sharing key help nuggets.

Research: Social workers whose work primarily depend on research, statistics, figures, history, patterns or facts can make a best friend out of the internet. The internet is a home for whatever research work you have to make. Just use the right search words and you’ll get the best results.

Polls: For some social work which depend on current reality, opinions or suggestions, making polls online can help out greatly. Using Google Forms is one of the most available, affordable (actually free) and popular ways to conduct polls.

Reach & Visibility: The internet, through social media specifically can help you showcase your work, reach more people and be visible to the right people. Impacty Community is here to throw more light on that through our programs.

Meaningful Partnerships and Opportunities: Show me a successful social worker, and I’ll show you multiple meaningful partnerships and collaborations which that organisation or individual has had. The internet helps foster this. Opportunities abound in social work and they are right here on the internet.
